One of my sister's rabbits, Clover, male, Sage, female, is pregnant. We reckon that when we wake up we'll have baby rabbits!
Sage is racing around like mad and grabbing facefulls of grass and straw and bark.... and even Clovers' fur... 🤦‍♀️ 😬
She started pulled fur 2 days ago.... I think... if not 2 then 1. She made her first draft of a nest a week or so ago.
Her and Clover have built a warren under the chicken coop. (Of course! Where else?! 🤦‍♀️ )
It spans that whole coop (Not pen) which is 2 by 2 meters. So if she has babies it'll be under there. (She is free range while she is nesting, Mum wants her to have a natural birth.)

Sage is mad. But to make it fun....I've made a guessing game! How many babies do you think Sage will have?! (Fingers crossed [:fl] she doesn't kill her babies. That is one reason Mum wants her to have a natural birth, less stress.)

Plus a photo of Clover, with his tongue out! 🤣

You don't think that were she wants to give birth is 'appropriate'?
If there is a month-old litter hanging out in the place she gave birth this time, it would not be an appropriate place for her to give birth to another litter at that time.

I don't know enough about your rabbit pen to know what the doe's options are, so I just meant to make sure that suitable options are available to her.

One of them died not long ago. I hate mosquitoes!
Anyway, lots, and lots, of photos!!! (Sorry, there might be some dodgy ones, I just put all the photos on)

If the male is in the same pen with the female, start checking for another litter in 31 days. Does can rebreed really soon after giving birth. It won't always happen, but it's common enough that I think you should be watching for that possibility.
