baby scovies.....all yellow babies...will these be white?

    so the first of the babies hatched yesterday and mum is proud as punch showing them off too me...there are 9 black/yellow ones and 2 solid yellow ...will the 2 solid yellow ones turn out pure white?? mum is black/white dad was white/black.....am really hoping for a pure white drake for my breeding next year (have 2 white ladies)

    I was told the all yellow should turn out to be solid whites. I know mine still have black caps though.. and my one always had a black spot on it's head.. not sure if he'll lose it entirely, it's still very much there at 12wks+.

    Yes, they will be white. I had all yellow babies and they turned out white. The mixed colors turned out mixed colors.

    Obviously this is not the "biological" mama. I snuck some muscovy eggs under her and she hatched them out. She doesn't know the difference. She was a proud mama.
