Baby Silkies, is this one a frizzle?

This is one of my 4 week old Silkie babies. I know the picture isn't fabulous, but it's all I have until I get a new camera.

This baby seems to have a bit of hard feathering and it's wing and back feathers are all sticking up like it's having a bad hair day. If you can tell by the pic, do you think it's a frizzle? Thanks!

I do not think it is a frizzle. The frizzle feathers tend to stick out farther.

I think it may be one. Mine started out that way. You will be able to better tell in another couple of weeks. It seems like they feather out more slowly.

They still have some baby fluff, but what's coming in is not like my other Siklies. It would be super cool to have a frizzle. I wish I could get better pics but my Crackberry takes yucky ones.

Yeah it looks like one, but its not called a frizzle


Frizzle + Silkie = Sizzle

Sizzle it is! I thought they were sizzles when they were silkies bred with frizzled birds? These are from two Silkies, both mine. Either way, I'm pretty stoked!
