So here she is...supposed to be a she anyway. Seems like the pullets are gonna be different breeds even though they came from the same bin. Oh well I like them anyway. I took this picture for comic relief as well as trying to figure it out. Is it possible this thing may be a bantam as well? I am guessing they are approaching 3 weeks old, I have had them for 2 weeks. Thanks and have a good laugh [IMG]

Oh yea, that roost she is on also doubles as predator defense system.

    Thanks for looking,

    Wes

No way would my hubby let the chicks roost on his weapons. They might poo on them!

Is it a buff orp bantam? Its legs look yellow, but buff orps lighten as they get a little bigger, don't they?

Buff Orps start out light and darken, or at least I think that is the case..

Looking forward to hearing this one.. I've got two just like it.

GI CHICK looks like a BO (if legs are pink) OR a Buff Rock (if legs are yellow).
I have both and they are both great egg layers!
My grandaughter wanted to know how the chick aims and shoots at the same time! [IMG]

Quote:I meant the legs lighten up. I've seen quite a few pics on here of buff orp chicks whose legs were darker, and people said they'd get lighter as they grew. Seems like it'd be more likely to come across a buff orp bantam than a buff rock bantam.
