Back to back broody

We have a hen that just hatched eggs 6 weeks ago. Today she's acting broody again. Do you think it would be to soon to let her hatch again?

Not sure how others feel but if she were mine, I'd give her a rest for her own health.

Me too! Broodiness takes a lot out of the hen. I would definitely break her by putting her in a metal dog kennel raised up so air can get under her and cool her off for a couple of days. If she returns to the nesting box to sit. Put her back in, etc. Someone once suggested soaking a broody in cool water to help chill her hormones out!

You can also put a ice pack in a light weigh towel under her to cool her off. Best to give her a rest so she can build herself back up again for the next cycle.
