BAD BAD chicken Momma

[Qi Chicken]

I filled the feeder last night and then tonight. There was still some dusty food in there but when I put the re-filled one in they acted like they hadn't eaten in decades. I feel awful. They were eating one a day up until now, I thought I would wait a little longer so there wasn't so much left in there. Anyway, they ate and ate and ate and ate. All their crops are distended. One is wriggling it's head back and forth kind of like a seizure but kind of like it is trying to move the food. Will they be ok? Anything I should do>

they should be fine, mine have run out of food for a bit before i refilled, they pig out and are full but they are ok

Mine pig out every time I give them new food even if they still have food in the feeder. They even think that it's new food if I shake the feeder and set it back into the brooder!

Just wanted to say thanks and Yes, you are right. They do do that all the time, although it was a little more extreme that time. I thought I was starving them but I guess not.
