Bag out of Layena package (updated w tutorial)

Wanted to share this because I hate the idea of the layena packages going into the garbage now that it has changed.

WOW, what a great way to recycle. That would be great for the grocery store instead of having to throw away all those plastic bags! Great thinking!

I have two of those bags right now, I feel a sewing project coming on!

glad to do my part... my bff wants me to make her one when I get another empty bag. It is really nice and roomy inside and it only took me 20 minutes to sew.

it is so easy to do there is no need for me to take orders, Just cut the bottom off and turn it inside out, Serge the bottom and then make a half triangle on the sides, sew them so it boxes the bottom, hem the top opening and use part of the bottom you but off to make the handles. SEW EZ! Trust me if I can do this ANYONE can.
Her is a tutorial I used to make "fabric boxes" a few months ago and I used this boxing the bottom idea to box the bottom of this bag.
