We are new to raising chickens and just picked up our first 8 chicks of different breeds, that are all less than 5 days old. They all seem to be healthy except for one. The Araucanas/Americana has a bald bottom, the size of a quarter below the anus. There is a little dried poop on the anus that I plan to clean off properly after this email. I'm hoping its just a skin irritation and not something contagious that could effect any of the other birds.
