I hatched out 6 silkies on Sunday - all have looked healthy until today. One of them was looking kinda lethargic, so I picked it up and gave it a little water when I noticed that it has a round area on its little butt about the size of a nickel. the center of this area has a "scab" on it (I am new to this, so forgive me for being uninformed!) The other little fuzzy butts are just that - fuzzy and they are healthy and running around. Any clues anybody??? Does it sound like this one is having a real problem??

  2. Pasty butt. Wash it off with warm water immediately so it can poop. You need to be able to see it's tiny little vent. Put some vaseline on it's butt so the poop won't stick to it.

Washed him well, but don't think he is gonna make it. abdomen all bloated (there wasn't any poop on his butt) Could it be something else?
