I am a new chicken owner! I bought 6 pullets/chicks from Rural King 3 weeks ago. 4 (2 black australorps & 2 barred rock) which were at least a week old, and then 2 golden wyandottes that were only a day or two.

The littlest wyandotte now has a bald patch on the back of her head/neck. I haven't observered her being picked on, but I am thinking that is the most likely thing that is occurring since she is the smallest.

I was wondering if it were best if I separate her from the larger chicks? I could easily move her and the other wyandotte chicks to the smaller brooder pen I have.
