Hi all

Just a follow up for advice
I have 4 female and 1 male Japanese.
The male is in love with 1 in particular.

So much the others get a bit of love with tiny bit of neck balding but this 1 girl.... bald under wings and back of neck is totally bald.

I have separated him to give her a rest to grow back feathers but I feel bad. It's not his fault it his nature

So I let him out with 2 other girls then swap him for the baldy and her friend. They normally live together but I don't want him to be lonely.

How long will it take baldy to recover? And any tips on avoiding stressing them?

Yikes separate her from the rest of the flock! Giver her protein feed her meat like steak or ham or any other meat or even meal worms to re grow feathers. If its from stress I would put her in a recovering area with a partner you know wont pick her feathers. Maybe add coconut oil or Vaseline?

I've sperated the male. It's his feet that bald her back and his pecking the neck. The others are fine with her. What can I feed her to help growth? Never heard of ham lol

Any it dose not matter but if i were you would feed her meat like steak because it has more protein but any meal worms would work!
