I will *hopefully* be getting 3 4-wk old bantam chicks next week. My setup is an open run that has roosting poles (no coop). When could young bantams withstand the temperatures (high 20s to low 40s) at night? I probably wouldn't make the move until well after 8 weeks, but I have no experience with bantams so I want to double check.

I wouldn't get bantams if they aren't going to have a coop. They aren't very cold hardy and wouldn't do so well without protection from the elements.
