Bantam Cochin maturation

How long does it take for a bantam Cochin to mature? I am getting eggs sometime this coming week so I am thinking the latest I should have chicks is by Jan 8th.

Do you mean incubate? Or how long until they start laying?

Mine is 6 months old and I just got her first egg last week

We have had our Buff Bantam Cochin since mid May. She began to lay at about 5 and a half months, about 5 eggs a week. Then, early in December, she went broody. She's currently setting on 7 eggs, 1 hers and 6 others a mix from our 2 Barred Rocks, 1 Silver Laced Wyandotte and 1 easter Egger. They are due to hatch New Year's Day (we hope they all really do - a little nervous since its Vermont and its cold!) She's very sweet - best of luck with yours.
