Bantam Cornish Thread

Haven't seen one for the bantam Cornish, so I thought I'd make one.

Does anyone else have them? Why did you get them? Favorite color?

Just looking for stories and pictures and fun

I myself have 5 (7 if I include the 2 extras I have yet to process). One cockerel named Dwight (from The Office), a pullet named Butterball and 3 other unnamed pullets

Thanks. My extra two are probably larger than Dwight, but I just love his coloring and don't have enough hens for two. Plus I heard that they don't share well as a breed, so I may only ever have one male at a time

I have a dark Cornish bantam hen. When I got her as a chick I thought she was an over sized OEGB. She now lays me beautiful brown eggs! I'm got to get updated pics.

Cute! My dark girl was a surprise to say the least. I ordered 5 RLW and 5 RLB sstraight run and ended up with 5 RLB and 4 RLW, plus the little dark one. Of course, took a few months to figure out what color I lost a chick on since both colors are the same down shade XD.

She's certainly a character though. Same blank stare as Hei Hei from Moana.
