A few of my red broiler hen eggs that I have been incubating hatched today. Looks like one of the chick's papa is my bantam Dark cornish roo. I saw him sneaking breedings in when the white rock roo wasn't looking. My bantam dc is a little bull dog. Thick and meaty! Show quality. I can't wait to see how this chick grows! LOL. It will probably take forever to get any size on it, but if it takes after the roo, boy will it be a bruiser. The red broiler hen's are stout too. But the breast on the BDC is amazing for such a little chicken. short and stalky. I'm excited lol!

I have two more that the DC is the daddy as well. So now three, I'm not sure if the other two are from the red broilers or the white rock hens. I didn't see which egg these other two came out of. They are the biggest chicks though. I'll be sure and get some pics.

Oh I had white rock eggs too. They are much darker than the red broiler eggs. But I only had 4 hatched yesturday, and this morning there were 6 more hatched.
