Bantam Lockdown

I am doing a staggered hatch right now, 30 eggs in the incubator of varying breeds. The first to hatch should be FayoumiX and possible d'UccleX (they look damn near identical), then shortly after that the Nankin eggs will be due and then a week after that pure d'Uccle are due.

My question is.. people say bantam eggs sometimes hatch early so should I put the Nankins into the hatcher for lockdown with my farm eggs? or wait a few days? If I wait, the fayoumi may be hatching and jostling as the Nankins go into lockdown...

I say you might as well just put the Nankins into lockdown. I'm sure you would rather have them in the hatcher and being jostled around, then try to hatch in unfavorable conditions. I just had some bantams hatch at day 19.
