Bantam or NOT?!

    I know these are Splash Cochins but are they normal cochin or bantam? Thanks...

    are the ones in the background bantams...? if they are, these are not... they're huge...

    Its hard to get size perspective from those pics but they look like standard sized birds to me. My blue cochin bantams are about twice the size of a softball. Yours are very beautiful...you can be proud of them.

    Look like large fowl to me too. Question, are they over or under three pounds? That will tell you, since if I remember correctly any bird under three pounds is classified as a bantam. Anything over, is a large fowl, or standard.

    The one in the back ground are not Bantam. Ok I just thought the hen had bantam "ish" looks about her. They are young I guess I just bought them last week. Thanks!

    a look...? i've seen white cochin bantam and a standard white cochin that looked almost identical... but the cochin looked like a tiny version of the standard one... color and stuff has nothing to do with bantams...
