Bantam Silkie Cockerel (Pros & Cons?)

So as the title states, I need pros & cons of owning a Silkie cockerel who will later become a full grown rooster.
I'm only asking those that have owned or currently own Silkie roosters.

Our 6 week old Lavender Bantam Silkie cockerel named Spiky Mikey is going to become our flock's rooster once he's big enough to join the flock. He's currently inside with 2 Partridge Bantam Silkie pullets who are the same age as him as we got them from the same farm. We're currently treating all 3 with Corid so they can't go outside yet.

In our flock outside, we have 3 BLR Wyandottes, 2 Black Sex Links, 2 Red Sex Links, 1 White Polish, 1 Bantam Silkie/Cochin mix, 2 Bantam Cochins.
Outside in our chick coop, we have 2 Buff Orpingtons(8 wks old), 2 Olive Eggers(8 wks old), 1 Blue Wyandotte(15 wks old).

Huge thanks in advance!

I have silkies, and several silkie Roos along with standard size chickens. The standard hens pick on mine even while free ranging. Sometimes the different feathers are tempting to smooth feathered birds.
