Bantam Silkie - Roo or hen?

    Hatched out this bantam silkie. It's 6-7 weeks old. Rooster or hen? Thanks in advance for your input [​IMG][​IMG]

    Are both parents silkies, it doesn't have the correct color beak, skin or feet. Does it have 5 toes on each foot? Does it have feathered feet.

    I agree it doesn't look pure silkie.

    They're hard to sex, this is really too young. But, from the hint of red in the wattles I'm seeing, and the thickness of the legs, I'd lean toward cockerel at this point.

    Thank you for the replies! I purchased the eggs online, this was the only one that hatched. Was told that it was a pure self blue silkie. It has the feathered feet & 5 toes.
