Bantam????

We were told we have Rhode Island Red chickens but how do we know if that is what we have or are they the Bantam's.
What exactly is the word Bantam? How can we tell the difference?

If your chicken is a bantam it'll be smaller in size compared to a large chicken.

Our Rhode Island Reds are a little smaller than our other chickens but they are two weeks younger. I don't think they are bantam's. Looking at the picture helps a lot. Thanks so much....

No problem, that picture is a really good example but some bantams are larger than others.
