Ran out of crumble unexpectedly. Tonight the only place open only has pellet. Seem big for my 12 week bantams. Safe? TIA.

Is it chick starter or an all flock?

If pellets are too big you can run them through a food processor and grind them smaller or just soak a small amount in a little warm(ish) water for about 30 min to make a wet mash and feed it that way.

They probably are too big for bantam teens. If you don't have a food processor (or the chef of the house won't let you use it ) You can just put some in a bag and beat it with a hammer.

All flock. How do I know if they are too big?
Watch to see if they just sort of bill the pellets or if they can swallow them.
It's possible the pellets may be too large for bantams at that age. If they have trouble and you don't have a processor, then I'd just soak a small amount and feed it that way.
