Hi all! My husband and I bought 6 assorted bantams from Southern States 5 weeks ago. We've enjoyed watching them grow and speculated on gender and breed. A little help from some people with more experience would be wonderful. Thanks!

Chick #1 - Cockerel, but what is the breed?

Chick # 2 - Pullet? Lemon Blue Modern Game... look at her lemon starting to come in <3

Chick # 3 - Cockerel. Not sure about breed?

    Chick # 4 - Cockerel? Japanese Bantam.

Chick # 5 - Sex? any ideas on breed? The body is black and grey.

Chick # 6 - This one's comb was small and pale until just very recently, hoping it isn't a cockerel too :(. I would love help on figuring out the breed of this one

I think they are all roosters. The first I think is a gold Seabright, game, game, Japanese, silver Seabright or perhaps another game.

We feared that, but I'm holding out hope that the modern game is a pullet.

If you can't see wattles yet you could be in luck with your Modern Game Bantam. I'd love some of those! They are so cute. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

No visible wattles yet on the modern game. Not sure that I will buy straight run again, it will be so hard to decide which rooster to keep. We knew we might get some roosters but I wasn't truly prepared for the odds to go this far out of our favor.

#1 looks like a mix and a cockerel (maybe a Sebright mix)
    #2 looks like a Pullet
#3 not sure one breed but I would say cockerel
    #4 Cockerel
#5 not sure on sex but I think is is most likely another Game
    #6 not sure
