So we always had chickens growing up, mostly bantams, that we got our eggs from. I'm 22 and finally own my own home and decided to build a little coop in my backyard. Bought 2 bantams from the state fair (RIR and Barred Rock). The RIR is already laying and the Rock should be here pretty soon. Want more, (of course) and am going to the guy we bought the first two from's farm this weekend. Hoping to pick up an Easter Egger, Australorp, and one other to round out the flock, all bantams.
