whats the best bantam layer that is also fairly docile?
i thought cochins dont lay good
Have you ever thought about seramas mine are very docile and good layers just small eggs!
i did consider those! still am
my mille fleur and lavender OEGB are laying machines...
oh, and sweet hearts... my serama are more aggressive than them... LOL...
really gumbii ! an aggressive serama . !
well... when i threw another hen in the cage with a hen... they started fighting... totally got me by surprise... my OEGB hens never fight with eachother... and i hear it's quite common for them to fight... and it takes a while for them to stop hating eachother or something... i dunno... but i introduced a pullet to my hen, and man... they wanted to kill eachother...
but that's just my experience... don't know how everyone else's birds act... LOL...
Quote:I would like to see a pic of your lavender OEGB. I have 2 what I believe are OEGB and I am trying to figure out what color they are. Also, how old were your when they started to lay. Mine are about 5 months old and I would like to know when they will start. I have EE's that have been laying for around 4 weeks, but they are a month older.
