I'm overwhelmed at how cute the different breeds are of Banties. How does one order where you can get a mix? I can't get a dozen of one breed, but I'd love to mix up a few in one order? Any ideas?

Many of the larger hatcheries will ship 5 of one breed, and My Pet Chicken will ship any assortment you want... 1 of breed A, 1 of breed B, etc.

I got the straight run of assorted clean leg bantams. I have no idea what I have yet but they are all adorable.

My favorite feed store, during its chick season, always has a bin of assorted bantam breed chicks. They label the bin, and will tell you which breed is in there and which you have chosen, but the chicks are straight run. No clue on their sex. It's how I ended up with two Silver Sebright cockerels. The next time, I was luckier: both were pullets, one a Silver Sebright and the other a Golden Sebright. The feed store also gets silkies, but I refuse to buy any of those.
