Help please, my 12 weeks Barbu d'uccle cockerel , which normally is very lively and runs around is not eating, or moving very much, he's not even coming out of the coop I tried to pick him up and let him out but he just goes back in the egg box, he's breathing quite heavily and has a runny nose?? What would you advise please?

It sounds like he may have a respiratory disease. If you cannot see a vet, I would get some Tylan 50 injectable antibiotic at your feed store, plus some 3 ml syringes with 18 or 20 gauge needles. Give it orally by removing the needle from the syringe, a drop at a time, so he doesn’t choke. Dosage is 0.25 ml (1/4 ml) per pound 3 times a day for 3-5 days. Tylan will treat mycoplasma symptoms. How much does he weigh—2 or 3 pounds? Offer him water often, and consider feeding him chicken feed with a lot of water to make a thin mush, since sick birds do not drink well.

Respiratory diseases can appear within days of exposure, and they may be caused by virus, bacteria, or mold fungus. Some diseases make them carriers. Here is a good link that describes infectious bronchitis, mycoplasma gallisepticum, ILT, and aspergillosis, some of the common ones:
