My Cochin bantam just started going broody and I'm thinking of getting her a saddle. She is getting covered much too often it seems, just look at her back! [IMG]

    Any suggestions?

If you are going to allow her to brood, you should set her up so that no chickens have access to her - then she would not need a saddle. If you are going to break her broodiness and return her to the flock, a sadlle might be in order.

Get her a saddle. Or sometimes what I do is put several strips of duct tape over her back. It will eventually fall off.
