I am also new to the thread. I raised three barnevelder hens and 2 roos from eggs I purchased from Peace of Thyme and Gabbard. Three of them are almost a year and the two hens are laying for sure. The other two are going to be a year in April and the one hen may be laying. I am willing to sell these guys, trade eggs of sell eggs. The roos are the first totally non-agressive roos I've encountered and talk about beautiful birds. I can take pics of them. I am willing to trade for bantam cochins, D'uccles or LF cochins. I am in Oklahoma. These are wonderful and healthy chickens.
