Barnyard mix, right?

    I spent way too much money on this hen and her babies at an Amish auction this weekend. She's about in the middle of bantam and a standard sized hen. A mix, correct? She's lovely. 20190623_180040.jpg 20190623_180048.jpg

    Mixed breed for sure. Could be a Japanese mix with that upright tail.

    Lovely mixed breed hen. I have seen this coloration on mixed chickens. I wish I knew how it was created.

    Thanks everyone . She's still skittish but seems really sweet. I wish her babies looked like her. One is white (looks like a little rooster) and the others are a brown chipmunk color. She seems to be a great mom.

    I have a few colored this way too. Mine were Columbian cochins crossed with a Millie fleur d'uccle.
