I have 4 chickens well into laying age and have not yet started laying there is 2 buffs, 1 ameraucana and a silkie any reasons why this could be?

It's that time of year. The shortened day length greatly reduces egg production. They will lay ---- eventually in their own good time.

They were supposed to start back in july that's really why I question it
