What are y'all thinking on this little cochin I got from TSC. I was hoping hen but it's looking like a rooster to me. I heard the brighter colors the better chance it's a rooster but I'm not sure if that's right. Let me know! It's 3 weeks old

That's a lot of comb for 3 weeks, so I would say roo. You have red lighting, but if the comb is pink as well...definitely roo.

5 days is a lot of time for a chick...look at the comb...if it is still yellow there might be hope...but still that is a lot of comb for 3 weeks, and I bet you will see it pink up shortly, and that will be almost certainly a roo.

Cochins are very docile...even the roos to my understanding.

Your EE looks like a little roo to me, his comb seems pretty red and big for his age.

Now that I can see her comb properly, I would guess pullet for now. If it reddens soon, "she" will definitely be a rooster.
