Barred Rock chicks 2weeks old

    Hi everyone! The chicks are now 2weeks old and there feathers are coming through :). Any guesses on there gender would be appreciated!

    How many different chicks are there? It's very early to even tell but we would need close pictures of the head/comb to see if there was any early comb growth/reddening, which is the first sign of a cockerel

    None of them are screaming cockerel but I would wait till they are older to be sure.

    Just thought I should update... one of my chicks is looking like it is definitely a roo. His wings are mostly white and comb is much bigger. The others all look the same. Mostly black with small combs.
