Barred Rock Hen or Rooster???

Help!!! We have 2 Barred Rock Chicks - approx. 6 weeks old. They look exactly alike, the one in question is just bigger, and possibly older. We are hoping that it is a Hen, she has the sweetest temperament, and just loves to be held.
Any guess as to whether it's a Hen or a Rooster?

I'm really hoping for a Hen - we cannot have roosters in our city, and it's our favorite!

That's a pullet.

A pure male barred Rock would have lighter overall coloring, twice as much white as black. And Rocks develop pretty early, so there would be a larger, redder comb at this point.
