Barred Rock hens bully another hen

I have have 18 Barred Rock hens that are 1 year old. Two months ago we gave one of our hens to a friend of ours because the flock singled her out and wouldn't let her out of a laying box. Everytime she stepped out of the laying box they would try to kill her. Now they have started bullying another hen; how do we stop this behavior?

How many are bullying her? If its just one or two you could remove them from the flock for a month into a separate coop and run, then add them back. That changes the dynamics of the flock. But if its the majority of the flock that won't work. Hopefully a more experienced member will come along and give you advice. Its hard watching hens be so mean!

Unfortunately it's like half the flock that try to attack her. I have her separated her by free ranging during the day right now. I'm hoping the ducks will adopt her
