Barred rock. Pullet or Roo??

We have 6 chicks, around 8-10 weeks old. (I’m not very good at keeping track. )
As they get older, the only one I’m worried about is the barred rock. “She” has a pretty overall white pattern, a noticeable red comb and wattles, and has started to be more aggressive than the others.
So. I told hubby I’d ask opinions here to maybe confirm my suspicions.

Cockerel. Not only is the comb a giveaway but his color. Males are much lighter than girls, easy to tell once they feather in.

That's what I was worried about. He's my 3 year old daughter's favorite. She's going to be sad to have to find him a new home.

Those boys can be so sweet when young, and sometimes stay that way
