My little BR pullet betty took over my adult roosters place!!!! I was showing my mother my new coop and one of the dogs ran over and started barking at my flock, so then my rooster diesel quickly turned the other way and my little betty bowed up ran over to the fence and pecked the crap out of that dog!!! It was funny:lau but I would rather see my roo protect the flock instead of my little girl. Whats his deal?

flight or fight response? Was your roo trying to round his ladies into the coop to get them out of harm's way?
