I bought 6 Barred Rock new chicks. Very cute and getting along very well with my new Red Stars.
I picked them and I am fairly certain I did a miserable job. Please help!

The photos are in order by head shot and leg shot. I could not label the photos. Thanks in advance.

None are pinging my roo-dar right off [IMG]

Then again, I also picked my barred Rocks and was pretty sure I had pullets. Now they're feathering out, two are looking pretty boy-ish [IMG]

Oh I'm sorry I didn't see the others lol. But the first second and 6th look pullet, and the 3rd 4th and 5th look roo. This is definitely not always 100% accurate at this age, but I can tell by the yellow spots on the head for roosters, and the dark legs and white dot on the head for pullets. As I said, this is 100%, probably only 55% accurate. But it is extremely difficult to tell at this age, but its a nudge in the right direction[IMG] I hope this helped!!

Thank you for your help. I was hoping because of the darker legs on all of them that it would mean pullets. My fingers are still crossed though.
