If you crossed a BR roo with black australorp hens, does anyone know what the offspring would be like, and would they be sexable at hatch??

The barred daddy would give a copy of barring to all his offspring; the mama, not having any barring gene to give would not pass it to anyone. Plumage-wise, all the offspring will be identical.

However, if you cross a barred mama to a black daddy, the boys will be barred and all of the girls will be black.

How about a RIR Roo and a SLW hen. What would that be? and can you sex the chicks by color?
