barred rock roo?

That's definitely a cockerel. Pullets have a darker and less defined barring.

Thanks guys-I thought so too. One thing that I've noticed personally with barred rock roos is that they are generally tame when young but become bullies and aggressive to humans as they get older. I hope I'm wrong about this guy...
