barred rock rooster or hen

    We had these 2 since the end of sept. They are about 4-6 months old I think. [​IMG][/IMG]

    Chickens start laying at around 6 months but these birds look younger. In my opinion the first image looks like a young rooster due to the comb and tail feathers. I can't tell from the second image but it could possibly be a hen. More images would be great :)

    Cockerel and pullet. Look how leggy that cockerel is. Dead give away at this stage of growth.
