Barred Rock... rooster?

As time went on I was 90% sure they were both roosters. One of them started crowing about 2 weeks ago and his tail is definitely starting to take the shape of a rooster tail (upright and starting to crest over), so 100% rooster, no doubt. However the other one hasn’t crowed at all and its tail is shaped a little differently. Should I hold out any hope that my other presumed-rooster is actually a hen?
    The first two pics are the chicken in question and the third pic is the definite roo sibling for comparison.

    Both look like cockerels to me. The lighter color is a dead giveaway for BR. Sorry!:oops:

    Two males. The first one is a little dark for a cockerel of that breed, but the giant comb at thirteen weeks gives him away.

    Both are cockerels. Like others have said, females would be a much different pattern.
