Chick 1. Longer wings with some white but has a bigger comb than any other one.

Chick 2. Long wings but has white only one the end.

    Chick 2. No comb

Chick 3. No comb but very short black wings

Chick 4 had the longest of all wings and no comb.

note that all chicks have black wash down the front and no tail feathers yet.

    These babies are so confusing!!!

When very young, this breed and Dominiques tend to have some dark washed out color on the front of the female legs, the males tend to have larger and/or more irregular white head spots, and the down is darker in males. These are not absolutes, but you should get 90% or 95% acccuracy. This post and a few just before it talk about this in more detail.

The down is darker in males? I thought the females were darker black with the males being almost gray? All of these have black was down their legs.

I go from thinking I have all pullets, to all roos.

Don't panic yet. To me, the easiest thing to see is the black "wash" on the fronts of the female's legs. Your chick #2 in the pics above looks like a typical female's legs to me. If all their legs look like that, I'll bet you're OK!
