Barred rock roster or hen?

    Both chickens are about 8 months old and I'm just wondering if the light color one might be a rooster?

    agree - are these hatchery sourced birds, the male has way too much white area and lacking over- all barring.

    I agree, the front one looks like a male. Will you be able to keep him?

    Thanks everyone and yes we will be able to keep him. My dad had got them for my little girl , from rural king and he was told they was all hens and was barred rocks.
