Barred Rock x Golden Laced Wyandotte

They are called barred wyandotte it's actually a cool looking Breed.
I'm working on doing the same cross. I think it needs to be doubled back to the barred gene

It would be really helpful if you updated your location on your profile page. It helps if you ever ask questions on coop design or injured bird to know what region of the world your in.:thumbsup

Ok I think his offspring will be-cockerels look like him and pullets would be black but I'm not 100 percent on that

Its going to take a whole lot more then doubling back to barred to get a pure barred Wyandotte out of gold laced wyandotte cross.

the thing is, he’s not pure barred rock. he’s got red, white and black feathers mixed in with his barring.
Without knowing what genes he carries there's really no way of knowing exactly what the cross will produce.
With him being a cross breed the offspring will be getting genes from at least 3 different breeds. With at least one breed being unknown.
Pretty hard to predict when dealing with any unknowns.
