Barred Rocks 28 weeks and still not laying

I have had my barred rocks since the first of September.

They are fat healthy and I'm giving them everything i can think of.

I have given them oyster shell, put fake eggs in there boxes and tried everything that i can think of.

They look fully mature. I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between them and laying hens.

No diseases that i can find except for one chicken. But i separated them.

She has something like pneumonia but i posted her in a different post.

Is it light that is the problem?

Should i give them a light in there coop?

August hatched chicks are at a disadvantage in that they often mature in winter. Without an artificial lighting program, they'll often wait until the longer light days of early spring to come into lay. This is perfectly normal.

BTW, Oyster shells or Layer feed does not make them lay one day before they are ready.

Layer feed and oyster shells only provide the calcium needed by chickens that are already laying to make the egg shells each day. Just thought I'd mention that.
