Barred rocks didn't lay today...

I bought 4 barred rock hens about 8 days ago, I was told they are about five months and just started laying. I built a nice coop and a very large run, and also let them free range for at least a few hours everyday.

Basically, the first 7 days I was getting 3 eggs every day. The last 2 days I got 4 eggs a day so I assume all 4 hens were laying. Today however I only got 1 egg. I wanted to see what y'all think. Is it normal for that to happen. Chickens seem happy and healthy, normal. Does this happen occasionally?

Jump right in and make yourself at home.
Chickens don't like change.
Moving to a new home is change.
Give them time to get to settle in and get to know their new home.
Make sure you feed a layer the feed and not treats.
If you have to feed treats limit them to once a week and only a small amount.

That's good to hear. I figured it might be just a normal occurrence but wanted to check with everyone here. This site is filled with great people and great info. I appreciate it
