Barred Rocks

    Ok Im confused these are two more of the pullets my husband got me. I have been reading the threads for Barred Rocks and am trying to figure out if I have Roosters or Hens. My 9 hens are down to 8 . This is Ike and Tina. Tina has a more yellow comb than Ike. both are the same size. Can anyone tell me sex of these. Thanks

    Both Tina and Ike look like cockerels to me (especially Ike).

    I agree. The light coloring on both says cockerel, and Ike is showing a lot of bright red comb and wattle development.

    Oh Boy my husband wont be happy. That makes 3 roosters out of the 6 pullets he purchased. Thanks for the help. I think Ill wait to tell him.
