Do chickens need baths?
Hi and welcome to BYC. Chickens bathe in dust and don't need "baths" in water.
You'll find lots of info in the Learning Centre
https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center, and if you have a specific topic in mind, just type it in the search box - there's a wealth of information on past and present threads.
You may wish to consider joining your state thread as it will put you in touch with other BYC members in your area - https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/26/where-am-i-where-are-you
All the best
Welcome to BYC Yes, but not the water baths we and some other birds species use. Here's a good article on dust baths and chickens:
Enjoy the site!
Glad you could join us here! You have some great advice and links to check out above on dust baths for chickens. Mine love to make a dust bath in my garden and generally not where I want them too!! But it keeps them happy and they thoroughly enjoy it.
Enjoy you time here on BYC and be sure to ask any questions that you have. Everyone here to help and very friendly
