Quote:I was super excited about this link so I visited it. I was excited so I joined in on the forum. Man o' man it is not child safe. Lots of nasty spam on the forums. Too bad because there is a lot of useful info. on there. Just got to sort through all the garbage.
Yep, the word needs to get out how much better backyard flock eggs are verses the abused, caged hens that never eat one blade of grass their whole life.
In my opinion, not the way God ment life to be.
The nutrition in free range eggs is so superior to caged eggs it isn't funny. http://www.motherearthnews.com/Do-It-Yourself/2005-08-01/The-Good-Egg.aspx
how do you adopt a battery hen and what are the pros and cons?
I definitely agree, that is not what God intended.
I wish more people were aware of why they are able to get a dozen eggs for $1 or less at the grocery.
But I also wish MorningStar Farms would have gone to small local farmers to get eggs from humanely raised animals. I think THAT would have made a more complete statement.
