Beans to sprout

    Hi there
    Where do I buy mung beans or others I can sprout for my chickens?? I read the ones
    In the grocery store are dead & wont sprout??
    Any info appreciated [​IMG]

    I know you can get sprouts on eBay but thats a good question.

    You can order mung beans in bulk (or not) and sprout them.

    You can get a 40 pound bag of Black Oil Sunflower seeds for under $20.
    After presoaking, you put them in soil & they're ready for harvest in about 7 days.

    On a side note, this is the first year I've used my aged chicken manure as fertilizer.
    Best tomato plants I've ever grown, so far.
